Before I post a ticket, has anyone had the following problem?
Access to meta-data, such as project or attribute definition screens, has suddenly become extremely slow.
It takes several minutes (!) until a screen pops up where I can edit.
Write operations also start to take longer.
However, performance of access to user-data is fast as ever (not affected). Neither are there crashes - it's just getting slow.

I've notice that the 1st time I use the Object Properties box for an open module it takes a long time to load, but its quick thereafter on the same module even for different objects. Ditto for the Module properties.
I'm ignorant about these things but it seems to me that you cannot load a view without much of the attr-info already loaded, so I doubt this is a "meta-data" loading issue. I'm guessing its a "build the dialog box stupidly" issue where their algorithm for populating the attribute list view is hopeless; looping through all available attributes for each attribute insert for example.
The "for AttrDef in Module do" loop is VERY slow. I'm guessing that THAT loop actually goes to the server for info instead of using the loaded version on the client.
Or more likely one of the internal clever folks here will slap me upside the head and set things straight.

I have noticed the same delay when first opening a properties window.
I am guessing that DOORS is loading user/group info from RDS and this is causing the delay. I don't know if this is a network thing or a software thing.
No joy on a resolution yet.
